Rob Holland will lead team growth & guide real-time behavioral data innovation

Bluecore, the leading retail marketing technology company, powering individualized interactions by unifying customer and catalog data, today announced that former Datalogix and Oracle General Manager Rob Holland has joined the team as Bluecore’s first chief operating officer.

This addition to the private company’s C-suite is the latest in a series of announcements and new hires pointing to Bluecore’s continued and anticipated growth. Holland’s expertise will scale the organization’s operations and management functions as the company builds on its expanding product portfolio. In 2016 Bluecore’s employee base more than doubled beyond 120 employees as the organization grew to support more than 325 leading retail brands.

“We’ve blown past the early stage startup, product/market fit stage – with 2017’s financial and organizational growth poised to continue growing generously. Rob’s long tenure in the digital, retail and CPG industries will guide us as we evolve, and ensure that our real-time behavioral data solutions continue to address key industry pain points, while delivering new efficiencies and insights to the world’s top retail organizations,” said Fayez Mohamood, CEO and co-founder of Bluecore.

Holland lead several successful business growth initiatives in his previous positions. After holding senior-level positions with Nielsen’s Retail & Shopper Practice, Product Management, Innovation Delivery, Retail Measurement and Retail Business Solutions teams, he joined the Datalogix executive team in 2011. There, he built the CPG vertical into Datalogix’s largest business unit. The company was acquired by Oracle in 2014, and Holland lead the advertiser solutions business for Oracle Data Cloud, which was built from other acquisitions of companies like BlueKai, AddThis and Crosswise.

“Bluecore’s platform is like no other on the market, addressing issues that have plagued marketers for years with a level of speed and simplicity that is truly unique,” said Holland. “The same integration that made Bluecore the industry leader for ecommerce triggered emails simultaneously solves challenges across the marketing organization. This unification of customer and catalog data will drive customer interactions that marketers have long dreamed about, and I’m excited to be part of this amazing opportunity.”
